Can I..?

So, I've got this stock 2008 eclipse gs and was given some rims (15x9 -12)
I'm trying to determine what size tire would best fit the wheel well without compromising clearance.

15” is a full 2” smaller than stock. Assuming the bolt pattern is correct to begin with, there’s a better than not chance those small rims will need to be test fit to check for brake clearance first.

On a GT they won't fit for sure. GS, I don't think they'll fit. The offset is wildly wrong as well. And the right tire size would be around a 235/65/15, which would be like a truck tire if it even cleared at that width

Are these winter wheels? Even if they fit they'll look kinda dorky. If you're in a jam or tight on cash, it wouldn't hurt to at least test fit it. Jack up the front end and remove a wheel and see if it'll clear the brakes

Always use a jackstand to support the vehicle
