What is this called? Where can I buy it?

My 2007 MIT's eclipse has this silver trim moulding on the rear tailgate. I have searched the entire internet and can't find a replacement anywhere! Perhaps I have the wrong name? Anyone know a site that may have it? The trim between the Mitsubishi emblem and lettering is what I'm looking for? Help please

That looks like some stick on chrome trim.

It's definitely not factory, that's something from the aisle at Autozone with fake badges, stickers, turbo whistles, etc.

Eg, like this
https://www.amazon.com/OTOLIMAN-5met...omotive&sr=1-1

It's possible that the same dealer that stuck a huge dealer badge on the left side may have stuck that on there too to make it a little more flashy. Not unheard of, I know the Nissan dealer around me gave a base model Altima a "Sport" vinyl job and listed it as an Altima Sport. If you pulled it off, there would be nice clean orange paint under it, but you'll have to scrub away old glue first probably.

Use a hair dryer or heat gun. Be careful if you use a heat gun not to cook it, all you're trying to do is loosen the glue behind it. After that (while it's hot, obviously) try pulling on one end and lift carefully. If you start feeling resistance, heat it up as you go. Sabertooth is right about the glue. You can start with some mild alcohol and if it's not coming off you could try denatured alcohol. Both should be safe for your paint. Don't rub too hard though of you could damage the clear coat.
After you get the glue off, take a little wax and if you're lucky it wasn't on there long enough to discolor the paint and it'll blend in so that you'd never know it was there.
While you're at it, please please please remove that terrible deal badge. Don't advertise for dealerships for free. You'll love the way your car's rear looks once you get that crap off.
If you wanna get crazy, consider debadging it. It's just as easy and I think it makes our cars look amazing.

Good luck and please update pictures if you get it all cleaned up.
