Will Manual Shift Knobs work on Autos

There are some really nice manual shift knobs out there like the Raceseng shift knobs. Will those shift knobs fit? And does the button actually do anything? Thanks! Also if you have an aftermarket shift knob, please drop some pics!

With work, yes, but then you wouldn't be asking. You can drill, tap, fill, mill, stick anything to anything. It's just not a good idea. That push button stops you accidentally putting it in park or reverse from a forward drive mode

You’re gonna need an automatic knob that works with the button because without the button u can’t get into or out of park, or reverse

Are you sure it works that way? Without the button nothing catches, so it doesn't stop it moving.

Yup

I looked for knobs that would work but couldn’t find any so I just stuck with the stock one

There was an adapter on sickspeed to use but idk about now

This might be the one, it threads on and u put any manual knob on top, u activate the park lockout by pushing the whole thing down then

In fairness, my only experience with one that had the button fail was a Grand Am. Without the button it would freely move, as if the button were always pressed
