Wasn't today but been having starting issues for last few months, to where you turn the car to start, and starter just clicks (brand new starter), would have to do this 3-5 times and it would finally start, so Friday replaced the egnition switch inside the steering column, fixed the issue

Unless I cough up more $$ for forged rims, the streets here in San Antonio have a serious pothole problem. They just take forever to fix but anyways, got my tune up otw, some pics

I just did this the other day with 3M Kit. Was $11 and they look damn near brand new for a 12 year old car. I eventually want to get aftermarkets with the halo in them, but I'm loving the semi-new headlights I just buffed.

Let us know how that works out. I'm thinking of doing a basic engine overhaul and replacing a bunch of stuff. I've already done a bunch of work to it over the past year, but driving it ~75 miles a day for work is rough. Can't wait to move into this new house with my own garage, and it's only a 18 mile trip to work. Finally no more 2 hours wasted to driving to and from work!

the coils in my car were yellow capped ones from the factory, there was no designation on them. did not know they were NGK from the factory. thanks for that info. the new ones that the dealership was going to sell me were also blank and had yellow tops. my NGK ones from CarID are a nice metalic color and they say Diamond on the sides and NGK in black on the top of each coil. they look hella better than most that i have seen. forgot to take pics of the ones I installed, but i can post some if you guys are interested.

also recently experienced total failure of my exhaust system. basically blew out/ shattered the platinum in one of my cats and it ended up clogging the 3rd cat. so i had to replace the whole exhaust from headers, all the way back to the muffler. now my car is super loud and running rich since we deleted all the O2 sensors (temporarily because all 4 were bad) i need help on a solution to the 02 sensor issue, buying new ones from the dealer will bust me $200 EACH, and the aftermarket ones i bought keep throwing codes, even with new exhaust. does anyone know of, or could recommend a trusted O2 Sensor Simulator/eliminator that i can install? also going to have a silencer put on because this $300 exhaust is stupid loud, but waaay cheaper than paying the dealer $3k plus for a whole new exhaust (parts/labor included)

any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have your O2 sensors unplugged, the car will run rich enough that you have to worry about gasoline in your oil, and washing the cylinder walls. I wouldn't suggest driving it that way at all ever.

You can buy generic O2 sensors and solder, or re-pin them to the OEM plugs. I bought Galant O2 sensors for $60 (or some other close mitsubishi car) with the wrong plug, then re-pinned them. No issues, Bosch sensors, been like that for 3 years.

As for O2 simulators, just get a tune if you can. The fuel economy pays for itself

anyone here every purchase products from VLEDS? i am looking at doing a blanket upgrade on all of my exterior bulbs. the review seem very good, and they offer a 3-Year Warranty on all of their products. I am going out today to compare prices of top brand bulbs at my local parts shops today to see what i can find.

back on the topic at hand. I did finally get my exhaust fixed, its a little louder than i would prefer, but getting my baby back on the road for $300 seems to make it worth it for now. I will upgrade to a much better exhaust when i can afford it. will post pics later today.

any opinions on bulbs would be awesome.

Spent New Years Day doing vinyl wrap, it was my first time kinda sucked and I swore a lot as well as wasted a lot of material but in the end came out awesome, just waiting on the aero kit and bumpers from the paint shop , 4 more weeks and I get to unveil it to my daughter for her 16th birthday
