Bad Cat Converters

Brand new to working on vehicles so I apologize if any of this is obvious . I bought a 2008 RS Automatic with endless problems , the last to deal with is my cat converters are toast , being quoted $2000 to replace them . I don't want them on my car but I'm finding it near impossible to find headers in Canada , as well as a shop that will do the work . Only place I see any is eBay and I don't really trust ebay . Any fellow Canadians that have done this to theirs ? Preference would be shorties and nothing crazy loud on the exhaust end

RRE does them every now and then. They're the safest choice. The cheap eBay ones require welding to make them work. RockAuto has replacements for much less than OEM, if you'd go that direction.,5808

Where abouts are you? PM me if you want to keep it more hidden
