2008 eclipse starting issue

I have a 2008 eclipse with the 4cly engine. having what seemed at first to be a starter problem where it would try to turn over and sound like it was shorting out, no smoke or anything I could detect. wiggling the key did not really help.
It got progressively worse and at one point now the air bag light stays on. I replace the starter and the ignition switch and still the same results.
I had read that a faulty clockspring may be the cause of the airbag light, would this also cause the starting issues? also when I was turning the key to start it and it was flaking out it would progressively lower the driver window and then it would go up to full height? at a lost at what to look for now

Thanks for any help

That sound is your starter freaking out due to not enough power.

Air bag lights will come on at low voltage

Weird body control module stuff can be a sign of low voltage

How's your battery voltage look when cranking? How about with the car running?

pcfreak4 has a spectacular aura about
Yup toss a new battery in it first

You will need a proper scan tool to clear the airbag light low that it’s on, and there’s no way to know why it’s on until u pull the code
