eosrebel has a spectacular aura about
I installed the Eibach's last week and honestly I think those 1.2"/1.3" drops are really conservative because to me it looks far more than that. As for the rear sway, it'll certainly help. By itself it'll help the car become more neutral in handling, but couple that with a lower center of gravity and I can see it being a good boost. It's the next mod on my list for sure.

Ok I need some clearing up... I've done some searching, and all I've heard about "Rear sway bars", "front strut tower bars", and "front lower tie bars" is that they are designed to help you take corners faster in the simplest terms... Now it's sounds like these parts are really advantageous for a "track car"... Is there any "worth it" advantages for a DD car?

On/off ramps are a lot of fun. Other than that, not greatly needed. I have tower strut mainly for the looks and rear sway for the ramps. I'd avoid the front underbrace, several members dislike them.

Gs to Gt TB swap.... HELP!!!

Im having a issue with the tb swap, when I first installed it a while ago it, the gt tb on my gs, the engine ran funny, didn't idle well. That was because I never disconnected the battery, so a couple months go by, today, I tried it again, and I pull both plugs off of the battery, waited a couple hours, then installed the gt TB and then reconnected the battery, when I goto start it, it screams.... wtf, im lost.... because last time when I installed it it didnt scream, it only idled weird, but I tried again and screams.... but when I rev the engine a little, or snap the gas pedal, it stops for a sec then screams again... it was both in cold weather, I did all same steps, but disconnecting the battery, which I did today, and I did have the injen intake on both times. All intake resonators out. So I install the gs tb and everythings good again...... please help me

I uploaded a vid on YouTube-*4g Eclipse-Gs to Gt TB swap.... HELP!!! - YouTube

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Get some brake cleaner and spray around the throttle body. If it revs up by itself then it's a leak. Get some silicone from an auto parts store and put it on the throttle body and also where the tb attaches to the intake manifold. It should help.

RRE is only sold by RRE directly, I'm not sure about OBX. If I were you, I would go with RRE. Much easier install.

Yeah I am starting to gather that. RRE says right now they are taking names for a waiting list, so I guess I am putting my name on it. Thanks for all the quick responses by the way.

Damn. Been a year since I got rid of the 4g and rre headers are still rare. But man you Def got lucky. I never fooled with getting them because I planned on going turbo.

After searching the net for days I do feel lucky for sure. I have another question for you guys. Whats a good brand to go to for a HP radiator cap, and the best place to get it? Everything I found on eBay looked like cheap crap.

What kind of cold air is good/semi cheap?

This thread is great, looks like I'll be visiting here quite a bit coming up.

I followed the link on how to install the cold air intake, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as far as what cold air intake to get and where to get it?

I have a question, I have a stock 2008 2.4l eclipse se that has 70000 miles on it. Will running a dyno on this car change anything? Make it better or is it a waste of time. This car has never had any modifications.

By running a dyno I'm assuming you mean getting a tune. A dyno run simply reads ponies, torque, and some other technical factors. Even a tune on a stock car will give you some decent gains and increased mpg. Search around the forum for reflashes and you'll find a lot of good info.

Im looking to do a good tune for my car and a re-flash. So far my mods to the engine are, RRE headers, RRE pulley, Injen ram intake, eibach springs, magnaflow cat, magnaflow axle back, all custom piping to 2.5 in from headers to exhaust. Who does them on here? would I have to take my car to them? and do people still mod our cars? with a full tune up would i need to get an AEM FIC and a reflash and a tune by hooking it up to the computer? After I do all of this what HP could I be looking at? I only have a GS and not ready to go turbo or supercharge yet until warranty is done but wanna mod the hell out of it. seems like this forum has died way down the last year.

The wires from your existing throttle body will connect directly to a great throttle body... It is directly plug and play electrically but there is a tab that will interfere with a sensor so unless you put a spacer in you will have to cut a tab which is pretty simple.

2.3 quarts, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I just did mine 2 days ago. Used Royal Purple 75w-90, cost $90 for 3 quarts of the stuff. But this is in Canada. In the states, pfft. Probably half that!

5 speed manual, right?

Yes it will fit, if you look on here, in the search bar for club 4g. You can look up throttle body and you'll find all the information you need.
