Hey man, quick question: I see you have to convert the low beam to a HID kit, and that's cool, but what about the high beam? Is there a socket and you just pop in the appropriate incandescent lamp?

And what has everyone chosen as far as matte or gloss black? I'm thinking the matte would match the cloth top better than gloss, as there's nothing gloss black on my Spyder.

Also, can I get a PM quote for a set with low beam HID kit, white halos, green demon eye? Thanks!

Can you tell me how much it would cost for white halos with a low beam HID kit?

And then how much it would cost to add a blue demon eye maybe

question!

so i got these headlights with the white halos and green demon eyes ill post pics of the halos at night when it gets darker but my question is how did everybody wire their demon eyes?

option A: wire directly into accessory wires with the halos

option B: wire into some other power source in the engine bay

option C: (what i tried to do) run extra wire from the interior of the car to the headlights that can be turned on and off separate from everything else with a switch inside the car

it didn't work... i think because all i had was a larger wire (guage) coming from the interior to the wires that came with the headlights which is much smaller so the charge faded from the power source before it made it to the LEDs in the housings.

someone please help me!

i live in VA where i'm not 100% sure if the demon eyes are legal or not because the only laws here that say anything about extra (colored) lighting on the outside is 46.2-1002 & 1003 and it is technically legal because it doesn't change the color of the projected light.

i'll attach a pic of how i have them wired currently:

Cool, secondary question. Are the head and tail lights the same for 2009-2012? I have seen some conflicting things. I have a 2012 and wanna make sure before ordering.

^Yes they are the same size on all models 2006-2012. Do you have regular OEM housings with halogen bulbs (yellow) or the upgraded OEM projectors with HID bulbs (white)?

The Depo tails are really our only viable aftermarket option for black tails. The LED ones cause resistor issues that force your TCL off at all times and the bulbs blow out due to faulty wiring within a few months. So it's either tint the stocks, or get the depos.

when ordering these I ALWAYS recommend getting Lamin-X Clear tint film for them. That will keep them from peeling or flaking!
