Muffler? Idk why people say axle back lol

Pretty much anything works if u weld it on

I'm looking for an axle back. Maybe I didnt want a cat back, or a header back. Dont have a welder and dont want to just use clamps. just seeing if someone had one lying around they didnt want. Hope you feel smarter because of your useless post though.

The RRE Axleback is literally just a muffler. It bolts on yes but any exhaust shop could not only sell you a muffler for a good price but it’s gunna be the same outcome and they can cut and use your flanges to make it bolt on like you would like.

His post isn’t useless because he’s not talking about a full exhaust system. But yes the axleback exhaust is literally just a muffler that’s gunna do nothing for horsepower and just add sound. And at $250 for the axleback muffler ,you’re better off cutting the resonator, straight pipe after the car with a solid muffler for the same price and get sound and some gains.

But hey if someone’s got it, get it

Literally, the stock exhaust piping diameter is perfect on the GS for NA, the resonator makes it sound good and does not hurt power, car sounds like trash without it so leave that alone, the muffler won’t give u much power to change it out, mostly just sound, I certainly wouldn’t pay the price for a magnaflow/RRE one because the price for performance is not there, u can have a shop weld one on that does just as good way cheaper

The main restriction is the exhaust manifold cats, and then the 3rd cat after that, tiny bit of stock muffler, nothing else

Basically Stock

Guys, he's not asking about power, he just wants sound, and bolt on.

That's why he asked for an axleback setup, not a muffler. He wants to install it himself without a shop, and have it bolt on

As for stock exhaust size... It's a little small. For street use, 2.25". Track with other NA mods, 2.5
