Joey: I mite have to do what you did because im still getting a minor "Drip" every now and then it and really annoys me -_-. After you put some miles on it let me know if you notice a cleaner oil free underside and once again I will have to follow what you have done!

Oh Davlin also depending on what road you decide to take... if you opt on getting a turbo then you wont need the basic mods a full bolt on car would have like cai, pulley, exhaust ect. You would suggest a 3in exhaust because you want less back pressure, their is a sticky on it in the Forced Indusction section you should read it. If though you decide to go full bolt on, you owuldnt need an intercooler but you can stick with stock exhaust size and throw on the pulley, headers, ect. Something else to consider down the road for when you get back and start building something.

A full bolt on GS can take a Honda pretty easy... I can take a Honda VERY easy. I don't have any kill vids but it should put you somewhere around 200hp at the most to the wheels. Which isn't bad for a little stock 2.4L non turbo, you still have to caution yourself against some of the better cars though.

Hey not that losing confidence in my car or eclipse in general but I'm in the car making it quick but I need some motivation I really can't tell wether this car is worth the money to modify. I know it's going to cow money and I'm fine with that but pretty much whA I'm asking if I did all the basic mods lime aem fic full exhaust pulley intercooler etc where would that baseline be for smoking hondas with all those mods ? I just really can't find any decent videos or furoms about street races statistics on eclipsees at all really. Unless you know where I can find more info? what's your personal opinion on how much proformance can you get out of 4gens gs'es ? I'm talking about silly performance nothing professional just something to put a smile on my face. Just can't find much info that's all and tell me who you have raced on the streets and have lost and won to.

usarmy, first off 400 HP is possible but nobody has ever done it yet (in a GS) and just forget about 500 in this car for the time being... I plan to hit 400 one day but it would require and engine rebuild and on top of what I have already spent on this car you are looking in the upwards of 6/7,000$ for not only the Turbo conversion but the Rebuilt engine as well. and that doesnt really include install fees at a shop. Since it has never been done though this is only a guess because I am more than half way their :p Anything over 10 psi WOULD NOT be safe in this car because the compression ratio is 10.5:1 which is very high for a boosted engine and people in the GT Supercharger field have blown pistons as well as one Turbo GS as well at 9PSI I am currently running 6 lbs of boost with my timing drawn back more than it should be as a safe gaurd. I dont mind noob questions ask away

Hey man, been a while since ive been on here. Been doing some research on boosting my gs. its an auto. Im willing to learn and stuff, I actually have funding for it so im looking at trying to get a little over 400 to the wheels maybe 500 if its possible. ive been looking at jm site turbos from greddy and I am trying to get someone to help with it. would it be safe to get anything over 10 psi? I have a lot more questions but im not going to ask them if you are tired of this nooby stuff. And i did use search lol. As a computer techy its still a lot to grasp. thanks in advance.

Devlin: It would be more cost effective imo, but ONLY if you know what you are doing and you a ready for a long hill of problems. All of which can be fixed with time and practice, and a fair bit of knowledge with forced induction/tuning but if you are a beginner at this like you said this car is not the platform to learn on as far as turbocharging or supercharging goes. The only real problems I have with my vehicle rite now are a boost leak (which was caused when somebody impacted my vehicle very easy fix) and fueling in the lower rpms (which can be fixed with my F/iC I am in the process) If you want more power and dont have a garage full of tools and a head full of higher knowledge with tuning and cars I would suggest just getting a GT if you have any more questions feel free to shoot them my way, no question is stupid. Question do you think it would be more cost effective if you build up the gs with your mods then just buying the gt ? Also as a beginner in all this shit how does your gs run on all your new mods ? Does it act up a lot ? WhT are the problems you have with your gs? Just undecided wethe or not I should just trade my gs for a gt

Devlin: Their is no turbo kit what so ever for this car, everything you are going to have to do will be from scratch. Custom IC pipe is no big deal, the three hardest parts will be 1. Tap the oil pan for turbo oil return 2. FInding a Turbo manifold for this car 3. TUNING ahh but yeah man its def doable

Jmk: I have yet to go to a dyno, and I dont want to give out numbers that arent real. I am pushing 5-6lbs on a 10.5:1 compression ratio which is what this car has so it may no seem like a lot of each lb gives me quite a bit of umph.
