First off, I have a 2007 Eclipse GS MT. I have a CAI and headers installed. Both upgrades provided power increases. The headers more substantially. This tune though is by far the most noticeable upgrade.
I have power from just over 2k rpms all the way to redline. When I say power, I mean putting you back in your seat and spinning tires a lot more than I did before. I didn't measure the before power nor times to get to 60 or 100. However, I know that they are dramatically increased.
To get the tune was easy. I just of course ordered the tactrix cable openport 2.0Tactrix Openport 2.0 I contacted Stayer through PM. He then had me download ECUflash from that website and then download TeamViewer. Finally, download ICQ. Of course the most important paying for the tune. A very modest $300. All of that was easy to do.
We made contact on ICQ and then we set up a time to put aside to get the tune done. We finally set a time up to get going. I took my computer and cable to my car and hooked everything up and then Stayer connected to my computer through teamviewer which is a remote access tool. So, you get to watch him do everything that he needs to do. It's important not to do anything just let him do his work. He read my ecu and in about 45 minutes he got back in touch with me and had me reconnect everything. The flash took maybe 5 minutes. He then told me to go take it for a drive.
I took it out and it was a night and day difference. When I normally would be going 35, I was going 45. It pulls incredibly hard through almost all RPMs. This is by far the best upgrade I have ever had for the pricepoint. I have modified on many platforms, but this is by far the best I have ever bought.
On top of all of that, he was heading out on vacation and he still took the time to help get me my tune. He was very attentive asking how I like it and if there was anything he could change to make it better. He definitely offers a great service and I'm very satisfied with his services.
If anyone has any questions, I will be glad to help out with what I can.
