removing the 3rd cat will result in a power loss if your exhaust piping is bigger than 2.25" according to the info i have read on this forum from legit posters

I'm planning on nitrous after my exhaust is done so that shouldn't be an issue. I was going to go with a glasspack in place of my cat.

Not right off, but car will be paid off in december, and student loan off in august, so once both are done, I'll be throwing money in this ride like it's noones business. Give me until january february time and you'll have some competition for sure

I'm hoping by This time next year to claim top NA GS and maybe take your spot of top GS-n too! Depedngin on what you do between now and then also haah

I'll be full bolt on plus reflash and nitrous by january at the latest. Maybe earlier. Then comes cam, pistons, internals, lighter wheels and anything else that will improve my cars performance.

I'm not going crazy as far as gutting interior and that sort of thing. But I will be going all out with the engine build. My uncle builds/races stock cars for a living and lives in GA and runs his own shop down there. I'm going to be visiting him soon and seeing what he can do for my car and possibly branch out some new lines of parts for us GS guys.

So are there any negative effects to gutting the header? Bc I'm all about freeing up some more horses, making it sound better, and it being free is the best part but this car HAS to last me ALL through college which is like 4 years so if I was to do this it wouldn't f anything up would it?

its alot harder on the engine with the cats in place.as long as you leave the 3rd cat on,i dont see a problem at all.i plan on having this car for the long haul as well and i wouldnt do anything to it that i thought may hurt the engine.akley88 has allready run a 90-100 shot of nitrous through it so that should answer your question on reliability.

its not 100% needed. mine doesn't have them and she runs and sounds so much better than before. but I do throw a code. o2 spacers will only get rid of that annoying ses light. buy I sat gut now worry about the code later

I did finally get a code. I recommend getting the spacers shortly thereafter, since it can skew your a/f with bad readings from the O2 sensors.

I'm not sure on either of your guys questions. Akley may be able to help. I think he had the RRE ones and they did fine, so whatever size those are. My spacers are not here yet so no idea what size or if they will get rid of the code. But they should, the rear o2 sensors just have to read a smaller voltage than the front ones to prevent throwing a code. So honestly any size spacer should work for the most part.

Snake, I would pull your o2 sensor out, and judge it based off the size of the sensor. Maybe use a bolt size table to measure the size of the sensor bolt. always remember to underestimate it, if it is too small, you can always go bigger.

you need 2 spacers, one for each lower o2 sensor. the spacer is 18mm according to RRE.
