Would there be any MPG gains or losses from this?

ive noticed an increase all ready.i filled up a little past half(8 gallons) and i have been 50 miles all city and im sitting exactly on a half this morning. you can sure tell im running rich now though.muh exhaust is teh stinky catless.

edit;now that the ecu has adjusted.im not getting any better mileage than before all city.on the interstate,i expect it to be the same if not better than before...another thing to note is the engine dont have to strain no more to get up to speed which in turn=longer lasting engine.

I haven't decided completely. I'm thinking about ditching the manifold cover. that's a couple lbs, definitely the bumper braces, Adn I think gonna get rid of my windshield washer fluid reservoir. Since my cf hood doesn't have the sprayers to use it

I've just bee brain storming, trying to inspect and think of anything and everything that really isn't needed that is extra weight. I will be doing a rear wiper delete and may pop off the cf hood and get any water out of it that may have found its way inside that hollow body.

well the newer cavys like 03-05 are actually pretty good. Like 2700lbs, 145hp and 155tq. So they have a good pwoer to weight ratio. Now the older cavys, nah we will eat them all day. And the newer one only beat me because I'm auto and he is manual. If he was auto, or I was manual, it'd be a different story.

there cats may be harder to gut than ours. Not sure if they sit at the bottom of the headers or not.

yeah dude, weight makes a HUGE difference. Look at the lancer gts. Same hp and tq as the eclipse GS, but 1second faster in the 0-60. It's all weight man.
