Red lip to black on rims

So I've been considering painting the red lip on the rims to black since I'm gonna have them repainted due to scratches from previous owner. I wanted to know if someone could do it. Thanks! Here's the pic. Sorry I know the quality is not the best.

You could get it powder-coated but I am digging the red lip!! It matches your car well.

but thats the joy of modding... if we like something and you dont, you have the luxury of making it your own!!!

thanks for the comments and thanks for the edit cheez. I think I might just have it repainted with the actual pure red color so it matches the car completely. check out my vid of the GT accelerating YouTube - Modded 4G Eclipse GT Acceleration
that is a funny signature lanzer!!

Those Sportmax/xxr 006's look good, I have them on the balt, whatever you do dont get them aligned with those rims on or they will/could chip your paint bad... Also be careful who you let install your tires, I did them myself for my first set but when it came for new tires I wasnt working the same place and had to get them put on, left a scratch all the way around on one wheel.

Since you said you already have scratches, did yours come with a chrome lip underneath?

Sorry about the late reply cobalt. The rims that are scratched show plain metal underneath, no chrome. I actually purchased a set of these rims: MSR 045 BRS custom wheels - WWW.RIMSNTIRES.COM. They're gonna look great! I'm gonna post some pics once installed. I'm gonna sell the other ones. I really liked them but they look like 17s and the MSR ones look bigger.
