These are codes that my car has or is showing at one point or another. So I'm just trying to get everything straight so I can fix the current issues to remove my CEL from being on.
P0421 - https://www.club4g.org/board/problem...116-p0421.html
P0421 Fix - HOW TO: Fix SES Error Code P0421 for about $5 bucks - Club3G Forum : Mitsubishi Eclipse 3G Forums
I'm personally not going to install a 5 dollar aluminum item, so I'm going to opt for something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AQ7972O/
And hope this will fix this CEL.
P0431 - I am assuming it's the same problem as p0421?? Might be wrong.
P1788 - I believe P1788 and P1751 are linked together,
(A/T Control Relay) I've already switched it out with one that I purchased from the dealership.
I have an 2006 Eclipse 2.4l.
When accelerating past like 30 mph the power boggles for a bit then goes back up and everything is good.
Switching between the gears is alright, Reverse/Drive.
What other problem can it be? Shift solenoid???
P3231 -What in the world is this? I got this code one time after I stopped my car and checked under the hood because it was smelling like coolant, I haven't gotten it since. I can't find any information on this one, not even on OBD-codes.
If I don't know what P3231 code is, am I able to call the dealership and ask them what it is or will they hold that info to themselves and ask me to come in for diagnostic check up?

OBD-II Diagnostic Powertrain (P) Trouble Code For Engine
Ignition System Or Misfire
Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
Those are reported on my generic code stats list. Says something about exhaust gas recirculation sensor b circuit high and recommends there is a engine oil temperature sensor malfunction. Not sure if that helps.

Yeah i litterly had P0421 pop up driving home from picking my daughter up. Looked down and had a notification for this post it was like within a 5 min span. It was wierd.
Anyways i cleared it when it when i got to a rest area using my bluetooth adaptor and Torque.
It popped on durring a long drive and right after a hard acceleration from 60mph to 100mph.
After clearing it it hasn't been back on.
If it pops back on ill dig into it.
