Eclipse gs airbag light on

Video attached of what’s going on, just looking to solve the light mainly. Also noticed after 30 min the engine was still only qtr warm on the gauge took being stopped at the bank for 10 min to go past the qtr mark finally after getting home it was close to full halfway mark warm I feel like it’s a sensor issue https://youtu.be/1GvujSGVf68

pcfreak4 has a spectacular aura about
It’d be real helpful if you could turn the music off for the video

Also, the coolant gauge issue is likely a stuck thermostat or failed ECT sensor

Your airbag computer light is completely unrelated and is anybody’s guess of what fault set it off until you get a scan tool hooked up to find the code, fix the issue, and reset it

An Autel DiagLink it MD802 or MD808 will do it, about $100

It was mainly to show the airbag light and the gauge but the quality sucked hahaha so I just explained the issue. I will get it checked at advanced one day on the way around town, didnít think about it being a code, has been awhile with code issues. finally got the car sensors code free for awhile now. Thanks for your help will report back if I donít find anything that makes any sense

A parts store code reader is for generic engine codes only, it won’t read your airbag module or any other advanced module

You need a scan tool like I mentioned above

Either that or a dealer to do it for you

(hint, it's usually cheaper to buy a scan tool than have the dealer clear the code. And unless you can convince them WHY it threw the code, they probably won't clear it without a diagnostic)

Also with your own scan tool you can have it forever to use again and again for a one time purchase when a dealer will make you pay probably more for a one time fix
