AC making strange noise

I'm not sure if this is normal for an eclipse but first off my engine gets bogged down when the AC is on (I expect that), secondly when the AC is on cold a defening squeal is able to be heard from inside the cabin and outside the car. At first it sounded like the timing belt was going but then I checked it and everything was fine but when the AC is on It's loud as hell. Maybe I need a new cabin filter?

My AC started doing that after a round trip from TX to CA. It turned out to be the bearings from the AC compressor pulley. It was also accompanied by a weird every now and then burned rubber like smell.

Tried buying just the pulley but places like autozone would only sell the compressor as a whole.

Oh and i think we dont have cabin filters. Hope this helps.

Cabin filters are optional as a dealer option, they can be added, but most didn’t have them
