Possible replacement for parking brake?

So, it's time for me to replace rear rotors again, and last time i did that, i noticed that parking brake shoes are worn badly, and rusty AF. About 700 miles ago my hand brake also started squeaking, when I put this on and off.
Since our rear rotors are swappable with Evo 8-9, would it be possible to straight swap for parking shoes as well? Because I'm upgrading whole brake system, I don't want to leave something like that unfinished. I found this product, which is meant to be installed in Evo, and from what i could tell, there is no noticeable difference between this one and OEM. Have anyone tried this kind of upgrade/swap?
