alright so i had totally gutted my 08 eclipse spyder made a custom dash getting rid of that god awful pad, carpet etc... i recently put the new custom dash back in as you know only really one thing connects to the actual dash which it the pin for the gage cluster other than that everything feeds...

Guys, anyone ever remove the carpet on their Eclipse? Underneath they have these grey streaks on the chassis that are pretty hard to remove. Has anyone ever attempted to take these off? Is this some sort of sound deadening material? If so, will dry ice remove it? Thanks.
