Don't know how many of you guys are OCD about your paint and detailing but... Here's a link to my thread I started on Detailing Bliss. I'll link it in my sig.

Finally finished the first two stages of my paint correction. Got 3 left. Final polish, glaze, then wax. Sigh lots of work. Totally worth it in the end.

Here's the before and after of the polishing paint correction. Just goes to show what time can do for your paint.

(Nothing I can really do about the actualy nicks taken out of the paint..)

wow your car looks great!! i also did the plastidip on my gas door last spring and its just now starting to deteriorate, but its not bad yet. just the edges look like the gas door 'cancer'. i can show u pics in a min. all u gotta do is peel it off and do it again :) but when my spoiler gets here this week im gonna have them put real paint on it at the shop. i like to use plasti dip to just see how something will look. its not a permanent thing.

I've thought about doing my rims, but I just don't want it to be too much black. Maybe I'll give it a shot. Take a landscape photo of your car and post it here, I'd like to see

i would take a landscape pic right now but theres snow all over my car. this is all i have for pictures. i dont think its too much black. im trying to get rid of all chrome on the car and make it black. I just got a carbon fiber gsx spoiler so when the shop installs it, im having them tint the tails, chrome spoiler lip, and fogs while im there.

this is before I added the black on the bumpers, but you get the idea. I want more black on the car.

Hrmmmm... It works well with your door decals. I just don't want it to clash too much with the carbon fiber. I'm wanting to di-noc my headlights, tail lights, and lower rear reflectors. The trunk piece is getting the color matched cover by e4e.

Yeah. I may just do it for the novelty.

Ahem. Between wife and kid. Took me 5 days.

Should. Technically a paint correction is clear coat correction. (Clear coat IS paint. It just has no color to it)
But it can be expensive and extremely time consuming. My polisher is worth about 300$. I spent another 200 in product and pads. Overall I probably have about 700$ invested including micro fibers buckets and all the little things.

However... It's the most rewarding thing you can do.

Yesterday some funny hipster looking dude asked if I would let him take photos of my car to build for his portfolio. That had me wearing a massive shit eating grin on my face all day

wisconsin is a bit far to be doing a paintcorrection though :/

I mean it all depends on your dedication. Wisconsin to Arizona would be a lot of dedication. Hell I'll do it for free just for the experience.

real talk though. get on detailingbliss.com a lot of guys have extra stuff they are trying to get rid of at killer steals. (shhh I got my 300$ ROBP for free. dude on the forums litterally asked for my address and mailed it to me) I got a book and DVD thats pretty informative.

Adam's Polishes - YouTube

I don't use all of their products but they make really good stuff. The videos taught me a lot. Great info, easy to watch, I learned the technique from them, and use Prima products. you should definitely check it out.

where should I put the o2 bungs? OBX (and ripp) both didnt come with the upstream o2's? I gotta guy that will do it just wanna make sure we put it in the right spot? The factory ones appear to just be in direct flow of the MIDDLE cylinders.

Should I mimick this or move it further down closer to the merge collector. Need an answer ASAP!! I'm running out of time to install these.:bat:

Oooh. Will that car delete mate up to the factory piping? Obviously a cut will be needed but will it fit inside/outside of the stock? I'm hoping to just need to clamp then weld to make this work. Will motor mount bushings be enough for now or is that ingalls stiffy absolutely necessary. I don't want to break any welds of course
