Well i guess i will start it off like this, My ride is a 06 GT 6 Speed with 81,000 miles on it now, i bought the car February 2015 with 77,000 miles on it for $4,600. Car has moon roof, leather seats, heated seats, rockford upgraded stereo system (fully loaded with every option from the factory). My goal is to hit in the 12's in a 1/4 with it eventually. That may take a bit as my family comes first and i refuse to dump all my money in my baby at one time, so this will take time.
I have pictures scattered in different threads on the forum, but to make this my official build thread and easier for all to see my car pics in one spot, i am posting them here as well.
MODS that have no pics
complete LED upgrade to all exterior and interior lights.
2010 head light conversion. (seen in many pictures, just not directly)
tail light blinker switch mod.
8,000k HID's in the fog lights
8,000k in the head lights
Greddy cat back Exhaust.
catalytic converter delete.
Car was already lowered over 2 inches when i got it, maybe Tein S. Tech Springs??

This next set of pictures is my Ebay CAI i modified so MAF would read properly. I would not suggest anyone to buy the Ebay CAI unless you have your MAF recalibrated or mod it like i did in the pictures below.
So as a few of you might know, when i got that Ebay CAI my car did not idle correctly and my CEL came on. All because of the Ebay CAI being 3" all the way through like alot of you have described being the main problem. The high end CAI's drop down to 2 3/4" where the air passes through the MAF and then back up to 3" to the throttle body. Due to this issue i took it off and went back to my stock one for almost a month now. But last week i was determined to get that thing to work since i spent $62 on it.
So what i did was, i purchased a piece of 2 3/4 aluminum pipe, 2 couplers that went from 3" to 2 3/4" , and i picked up 4 more hose clamps.
Now to make all that work!! I brought the CAI to work, had our welder cut the MAF mounting block off the Ebay CAI and had him tig weld it onto the piece of 2 3/4" aluminum pipe i purchased. I cut the section of pipe out of the CAI that i would no longer need and i replaced it with my new 2 3/4" pipe that i had made.
the car now idles as smooth as it did with the stock breather box and no more CEL coming on!! i have had it on for 2 days now and put roughly 65 miles on it. And damn i can tell a huge difference from the stock breather to this set up! it definitely pulls alot harder now.
I might take it back off and paint that section of pipe. Not to sure yet lol
Here are a few photos , enjoy
I will ad more info as i go along, because i do know i always forget something lol.
