Hey gang, so my daily driven CRX is taking a crap on me and I'm looking at getting another daily driver
I stumbled across this eclipse GS for sale
Cars for Sale: 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS in Spotsylvania, VA 22580: Hatchback Details - 347664570 - AutoTrader.com
but I want to know a few things
Is this a reliable car for the next 3-5 years with little to no money to put into it besides regular oil/etc, that is if the timing belt, tires, brakes, tune up, clutch have been done on it already.
I only plan on driving it about 5-7k miles a year
my buddy said, hope you have a mechanic to fix it if it breaks down, but he was also saying it based on his knowledge of the GSX and crankwalk that he has read about which I'm sure won't happen with a GS
basically are these relatively cheap to fix if need be?
Anyways for all you 2ger's do you think this would be a good DD and would reliably get me around and for the price they are asking for and maintain a good resale value for the next 3-5 years?
I'm planning to haggle the price to $3k
