Not really a build thread, since I'm not really doing anything myself, but made the decision to reinvest rather than move on. 12 years and 109k miles, my 'Attainable Exotic'® going strong with this list of spring time upgrades:

• Spark plugs and valve cover gaskets - DONE

• Front EBC USR rotors and Redstuff pads - DONE

• Replaced Hankook R-S3 with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - DONE

• MiVEC oil feed control valve housing gasket leak - DONE

• Replaced dying cats with RRE Headers - DONE

• Ralliart front bumper (Plasti) - DONE

How are the headers? Get any before/after vid on sound? Does it require a tune immediately after? Curious b/c i have the rre headers just havent installed because of more upgrades before the tune. Assuming it's around 1k? For shop install + tune

I'm still on stock tune, but likely will get one in the coming weeks/months. Install was approx. $300. I haven't done a any audio clips, but there's plenty to be found on YouTube already, I think Plain Jane did one a few months ago. I like the headers a lot so far, not a massive change, but a tune will go along way to enhance them I think. Sound can get a little droney on long rides at higher rpms, but otherwise not nearly as loud or overly aggressive as I thought, which is good.

Once I get smog test handled I'll get a Tatrix cable and get in touch with Stayer. That's my plan at least, then back to coileover upgrades.

After years of shopping, new wheels today!

Keeping winter tires (Pirelli Sottozero Serie II) on my stock SE Silver Swords, and got these for my Pilot Sport 4S.

Behold, motherfuckers! ESR SR13s at 18" x 8.5" + 30 offset in Battle Ship Grey.

KW V3s coming up next week.

It was a better summer for my car than for me, my family, my city, the planet...new front brakes, front control arms ES poly bushings, a track day, and a dyno. Drives and looks better ever, enjoying the last couple of months on summer wheels and tires.

ESR SR13s. Very cheap knock-offs of Enkei NT03+M, that were OE on the Ralliart 4G. I actually like the look of the SR13s better.
