Not really a build thread, since I'm not really doing anything myself, but made the decision to reinvest rather than move on. 12 years and 109k miles, my 'Attainable Exotic'® going strong with this list of spring time upgrades:
How are the headers? Get any before/after vid on sound? Does it require a tune immediately after? Curious b/c i have the rre headers just havent installed because of more upgrades before the tune. Assuming it's around 1k? For shop install + tune
I'm still on stock tune, but likely will get one in the coming weeks/months. Install was approx. $300. I haven't done a any audio clips, but there's plenty to be found on YouTube already, I think Plain Jane did one a few months ago. I like the headers a lot so far, not a massive change, but a tune will go along way to enhance them I think. Sound can get a little droney on long rides at higher rpms, but otherwise not nearly as loud or overly aggressive as I thought, which is good.
Nice, im close behind you. My next install is headers, finally got a number of things crossed off the list. You just downloading or ? Looking at some tactrix 2.0 now debating which way to go on tune myself.
It was a better summer for my car than for me, my family, my city, the planet...new front brakes, front control arms ES poly bushings, a track day, and a dyno. Drives and looks better ever, enjoying the last couple of months on summer wheels and tires.
