Any chance that changing the o2 sensor will fix this? My baby is 2010 gt spyder. 42k miles. I've been the only owner. If not changing headers out can I get a set off ebay? Just stock stuff. Everyone suggested doing RRE button can't get them. I have till July to fix it. Emissions test will get me then. I'm in NY state. Don't judge. Lol

I'd say probably no. I had the same issue, and I had to break down and get headers. It was cheaper to get headers than to get new catted manifolds.

If you can't find RRE, maybe look for OBX. They make a set for the V6.

If you do a lot of cold starts and idling, or city driving, it's probably a plugged cat. It's common for a lot of people to do that, but leads to the problem.

Headers will throw the same codes though until a tune deletes the downstream O2 sensors

If it codes won't I fail emissions? If I take it to a muffler shop can they tune that code out after installing new headers.

You can tune your own vehicle as well, just need a laptop and a usb to connect to your obd-2 on your vehicle and using the appropriate program to modify your ECU. However if you don't know what you're doing, that can actually be disastrous.
Just wanted to let you know that YOU could also do it, if you're willing to learn.

1- what i did bc i have a p0421 and p0431 that i couldn’t make go away even though i replaced the cats and oxygen sensors . i just cleared the code before going into inspection and it passed. 2- what i recently did i got o2 spacers and u put those the downstream o2sensors and the code never came back since.
