Factory fosgate amp

Has anyone hooked up door speakers and rear speakers to a aftermarket head unit without amp. What is the best or easiest way to do it and is it possible. Is it enough ohms for the head unit?

I've done this on other cars. Fresh wiring is best. As for ohm rating, that'll come down to which stereo you use. You want to be sure it's matched to the door speakers you use.

Normally I would give you a link to a forum but I think it has been a while since this has been discussed that I feel I will go over it again.

There is a few methods you can wire a aftermarket unit

1. Mitsubishi radio wire harness - will provide minimal connection- tweeters and rear if you have a Rockford Fosgate amp

2. Mitsubisishi Mito-01 harness - will provide full link to the head unit and the aftermarket speakers

That said the original amp is not that powerfull. 360 watts (60 watts per channel) for the door speakers and the woofer is double coil (60 x2).

Hope this helped.
