I want to upgrade to ES poly bushings, but ride quality and (mostly) cost are a concern. Is it possible to just replace the front control arm bushings and leave the backs OE rubber? Would that screw with handling/alignment? Has anyone done just front (or rear) only?

I mean u could but if you’re gonna change then might as well do them all, I’m sure they’re all tired

But honestly I don’t think you’d notice a handling issue just changing just the fronts or vise versa, do make sure you have both sides of either the front or back changed together tho, that goes for pretty much any suspension component aside from control arms and axles

Right on, that makes sense, thank you! You're right, I'm sure the 14 year old OE rubbers are spent. I'm gonna proceed with the fronts for now, mostly due to cost as I'm having these done at shop. Will do the rears later at some point, hopefully.
