Hey everyone, I’ve been browsing this forum for a while now. Just got my first eclipse a couple weeks ago. It’s a little bit of a fixer upper with cosmetic issues, mainly needs new A pillars, bumpers, and tint. I plan on building up this car for the next few years, and would love to keep it documented! I would love any feedback on the car, good and bad. I look forward to being an active member of this community! One more thing, I bought this car with an aftermarket K&N cold air intake and exhaust. Sounded great when I got it, SES light came on. Took it to a shop and apparently the cat converter had been falling off the engine block, so had to drop a good chunk of change on OEM headers and cat. Runs like a charm now though. I was lucky enough to get the car with some nice konig rims and Indy 500 race tires, so that’s a plus.

Welcome to the club.

If there's no record of the timing belt not being due, make sure to change it. May as well do water pump with it. It looks like yours is a GS, and it's not that hard a job.

And be careful with Indy 500 in heavy rain or cold.

Thanks for the advice man I appreciate it! I’ll definitely get that looked at and replaced!
