Hello all! I have a 2011 eclipse and I was cruising down the highway when out of nowhere some idiot left a box in the middle of the road. I didn't move in time when the damage was done. After inspection the bumper area is a bit scratched and I lost my driver side engine splash guard and wheel guard. How would I go about fixing this. Should I bother fixing the bumper in your opinion?

Junkyard splash guard, generic expanded steel mesh, sand and repaint the bumper. Also remove the leftover bit of splash guard at the front, and if the top has risk of contacting the tire, cut that back too. Would be a shame to mess up the fender because of that. But it does protect your wiring harness between the ECU and cabin

You can make a new mesh piece for about $5 of mesh from a steel supplier.
Splash guard, probably around $10 at a junkyard.
Repainting, between $30 and $800 depending how you go about it.

Are these good replacements for the splash guard? Also I'm to try to see if I can bend the mesh back in place.
