I'm looking for a part I may or may not need, I need a starter plate, or the plate that goes between the transmission and the engine. When I bought my 6g75 MIVEC, it came with one and it was bent to hell, and it was used as welding practice by my dad and brother before I could flatten it, I have no idea if I ultimately will need it, I would rather have it than need it. I have not be successful of so much as finding this part in service manuals on Tearstone, I may have to resort to Alldate or look at a Hane's


please post if you have it or can guide me to it, my appreciation cannot be understated

Not sure if this might help but 2006 Eclipse Factory Service Manual – Tearstone has a whole list of part numbers im pretty sure and its all like engine bay stuff and not just exterior part numbers!

Yeah you'll at least want it. I ran without one out of curiosity, and the starter grinds like hell. It can start the engine still, and does self center itself better after a few starts... But it's not worth grinding your starter against the flywheel
