Need help with diagnosing an issue, 06 GT w/ 3.8L and 6spd. Starts and runs strong but then stalls immediately, traction control icon lights up and I get a P0660 intake tuning valve code. I have already installed the new intake tuning valve and checked that is has power and ground which it does but the light still comes back after clearing despite the valve working.

Not sure if it's the immobilizer (I see no lights) or something else. I just had a spare key made to see if it was that and it's not the problem, ECU was also checked. The factory stereo is long gone but the car ran without it two years ago and then sat before I replaced the head gaskets and timing belt, valve job was done and timing belt is lined up correctly. I also tried locking and unlocking the car with the key (Has no fob) and same thing.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, Thanks

No fob, so this car was immobilizer deleted before? Normally it just won't start otherwise, not shut itself off.

You can try just unplugging the intake solenoid on the air box and seeing how it acts and if it throws the code. It's not a common code on these though, and could very likely be related to a short in the harness, or something falsely triggering it

Just the transponder style key like 3 out of my 4 Eclipses, only the one "07" of mine had the fob. Not sure if that means the immobilizer was deleted or not.

Wait, it's the one on the air box by the filter not the one right behind the throttle body on the top of the intake? The one on the air box is open and the line from the intake for it is plugged off as the one way check valve or filter (Not sure which it is) was broke on mine. I replaced the one by the throttle body on the intake.
The thing on your throttle body is the EVAP purge solenoid. The one on the airbox is the variable intake solenoid.

If the line isn't there, unplug it, else it won't open/close and will error

It was unplugged as the bottom of the airbox was off so I could test various things. I put it back on and ordered a new check valve and hose to get it all working as the factory intended again.

I'm still stumped. I also tried cleaning the MAF since my intake temp sensor read 106 degrees when I checked it with my launch reader. It was only about 89 degrees outside.
