Hey all, just bought 2006 Eclipse GT Auto (ya I know ) I couldn't beat the deal it has only 8,200 original miles. Def not new to DSM had 90 Eagle Talon TSI, 92 Laser RS, 95 Talon TSI, 98 Talon TSI I miss that 1, and just sold my 2003 Eclipse GTS to get this 1. Great site , good posts and advice happy to be here.

Welcome to the club, be sure to change every single fluid in that car. Flush the trans, change the engine oil, flush the brakes, flush the power steering.

All of that stuff decomposes over time, and much of it picks up water.

Also change the timing belt, dry rot is nasty

And coolant, serpentine belt, balance shaft belt, water pump, thermostat with your timing belt while you’re at it
