Hey all. A few weeks ago I was driving slowly in 1st gear (clutch fully engaged) and I gave it a good punch of gas and let down smoothly. Ever since then, there has been a noise I can't figure out.
- Sounds like a belt turning/humming.
- Starts very low and rises in pitch with the car's speed (becomes mainly audible around 2000rpm in 3rd)
- Only happens when I amapplying throttle
- Only happens when I am engaged in gear with the clutch at least somewhat/fully engaged (Noise doesn't happen with clutch pedal all the way in - even with the selector in gear)
I can't attach a URL to the video of the noise but hopefully I can DM it to anyone if you are willing to reply! It is kind of hard to hear but it comes in around 2000/2100 rpm in the video.
Please help! I can answer more questions if it helps find out what it is!
Ps. I got a transmission oil change since the noise started and it didn't change anything. Thanks.
