Can anyone help me with the location of the oil pressure switch on the 2006 gs I just bought the car about a month ago and I'm trying like hell to work out the bugs. I read a thread that described my exact problem so I bought a switch just need to know exactly it goes because I can find it on top of block.

The pressure sensor? If I'm not mistaken it's under the intake on the back

Yes. It is on the back side, under the manifold. It is painful to get to. It can be reached from underneath with the car on jack stands. I hope you have short arms though. It appears to be open around it, but it is tight for someone with long arms.

When replacing the oil pressure switch on the bottom side of it do I need to drain all the oil first? I don't want to as I have just had it changed not even a month ago!

Thanks for the answer but I ended up fixing it this morning. Now my pressure light is off when idling. Thank God!
