Swapping out aftermarket stereo for a stock one?

Hello everyone, I had a question regarding my 2007 Eclipse. I purchased it a couple months ago and the guy I purchased it from put all sorts of aftermarket features on the car that I didn't like and have since removed. One of these was the aftermarket head unit/stereo they put in. It just sucks and I don't like it. So anyway, I decided to go to my local junkyard and I found one from another 2007 with a stock stereo and head unit. Would it be possible to put it in my Eclipse and would it even work? Thanks
