Ok i just want to make a poll to find out what our cars top out at. I keep hearing 130, 134, 135, 139, 140, 150, 160, and even 210:noplease: but this is how were gonna clear thing up and no making shit up like i went 180 mph one time but wasn't able to do it again just be real.

yea I freaked when I hit 145 Jordan was telling me to catch up to the guy and all of a sudden the govener kicked in. He asked why I slowed down..told him...um it wasn't me it was my car.

No offense, but this thread is pretty beat. Unless you remove the gov there is no way to get your car faster than 134/135mph.
The fastest I got my eclipse to was 120... I realized the speed I was going and decided it would be best to slow down before a deer ran out on the parkway. Although, I did get Bills lightning up to 140, which was pretty cool-- didnt even feel the speed because of the size of the truck and with it being so high up. I heard the hissing of the supercharger and just kept going with it... shit turned me on!! lol

Its called fuel cut not REV limiter. I've hit fuel cut at full throttle and ran her up to 142 before it slowed back down to 140. I'm not sure why everyone says 135... becouse i can run a constant 138-140 no problem. And if your going down hill you can coast into a 145 with very little effort. And this is Fact becouse i've done it many many times now. And its not only me becouse i've watched RearDrv hit 140 with fuel cut as well. So.... ya!
And at 140mph i realy don't wanta be trying to drive with 1 hand and taking a photo with the other but ill see what i can do this week end.
And i've heard of 2 seperate accounts where someone didn't have fuel cut but still havn't seen any real prof yet. The other was on a 2006 and was thinking it might have been an early edition or somthing but not sure.

The whole point of this thread was to prove that no one has gone faster then 135 mph in a 4g so for all of u who say u went faster PROVE IT.

Hahah I just read a few posts about racing Veyrons and I really hope it was some kind of joke. The Veyron is like one of the top 3 fastest cars in the WORLD. It would pull two busses on an SDS Eclipse in a 1/4 mile. They are QUAD TURBO 12 cylinders I believe.
