Transmission fluid Manual 09 GS

My local Mechanic put RedLine 75w-80 full synthetic gear oil when he replaced the clutch. a year later, I changed the CV axle shaft and lost a bit of trans fluid in the process so I decided to drain and refill myself. I went to O'Reilly's and they gave me a Valvoline manual alternative. Should I go ahead and put this in the car? Is it SAFE? how much Quartz do I need?

PS- This car is my daily and not a racing car

Buy it online. Amazon has it for around 60$ dont cheap out on this. The MT oils sold on auto stores will destroy your brass/ copper parts inside our trans. You will only need one gallon but will have much left over. Just level your car and fill the trans, excess will drain out.

Dont go to a Mitsu dealer for it. They use the wrong oil that damages our trans. They use the right oil for warranty vehicles but wrong for non warranty.

Yup that stuff will work perfect

I mean the synchromesh won’t hurt it really, it just isn’t the best to use

Apparently GL4 is better for these trans than GL5 with the brass parts
