What he said ^^^

Everything is opposite between the two motors, so a whole lotta custom work will have to be done just to mount it into the engine bay.

You will save money over all by supercharging it. I spent about 2800 for the kit. The labor alone is much simpler to just super charge a n/a engine. I plan to post pics of my pre and post engine. Took it from 27ish to 407 with about 5k. now its the outsides turn :)

Yeah, sorry to say dude but your 2G 4G63T won't fit in your 4G GS without some heavy fabrication and ingenuity.

You'd be better off getting a 4B11T from the new Lancer/Ralli Art and going for a swap that way since the transmission is on the same side.

Here is an Evo 6 that Road Race has/had.

Now that engine will swap into your 4G without a TON of reworking the under hood. You'd need the wiring harness, ecu, and probably some other goodies along with the whole thing, but it would be easier than putting a 1G/2G motor in.

To be totally honest you'd be better off in the end building up your 4G69 into a 4G69T and doing some head work so you can push more boost. You'll find it to be a more rewarding experience.

BUT!

If you wanna do your plan of doing a 4G63 or a 4B11 then go for it. I'm not stopping you at all. Just know that it'll be a hell of a project and if you decide to do it, I'll root you on the whole way and watch.

True, but he's also asking if he could do the engine from a 2G. Which would NOT work.

Yes, an Evo block, like I've already stated would work.

Hey good luck on this, there are a lot of things to look into, I would recommend searching in google, as well as the forums. Also try club3g.org, they do tons of shit over there and I've read up on it a lot over there. My understanding is that it's definitely possible to do, but your time and money would be better spent making your 4g69 turbocharged. Good luck!

There isn't a motor out there to swap out with. If you read all the statement made above its a lot of work. Much to advanced to wing it. Depending on what you have, GT or GS you have the same option. RIPP made a bolt on supercharger kit but they are hard to come by. That is the easiest thing to do if you ware wanting to join the boost club. There are risks you run though just slapping a blower onto the engine without upgrading your internals.

The best thing you can do is research a little more about boost the application you own. To just start off in the moding world and jump to a engine swap is crazy. It can be done, anything is possible! It all depends how big your wallet is and how much time your willing to put into something such as what you are asking.

To be honest, the guys doing the turbos, and head swaps on these 4G’s are highly skilled in what they do, it’s not a bolt on mod to say the least
Best to just throw on an air intake, exhaust mods, and maybe a tune into your 4G, if you want a turbo car it’s best to build up a cheap Civic and throw a turbo kit on it, or buy an already turbo car like a WRX, Neon SRT4, or Cobalt SS
