Yes Hack is right...the ports do line up between the 63 and 69 motors..it has to have alot of port work if u do that.

This is what the first 4g turbo eclipse did, meckone. I want to say he used a Mazda protege turbo manifold, cut off the flange and welded our flange on.

Hack, I don't think they are saying use a stock manifolds off an earlier year, an aftermarket tubular one. Still the ports don't match up. Depending on the construction of the manifold you my be bale to bent the pipes to match the flange ports...

its been on both...after we fitted it to the lancer i knew the eclipse would be no issue.

Oooh interesting, my future plans for my car was to go v6 swap from my gs, but a gs-t wouldn't be too bad either =D

depends on the design, But I haven't had any noticeable issues with a straight log, though I've never had a tubular manifold to know the difference. But the turbo spools very quickly and the motor makes good power.
