Oooh interesting, my future plans for my car was to go v6 swap from my gs, but a gs-t wouldn't be too bad either =D

 

If you decide to go the boosted route, just shoot us an email and let us know how we can help. It will be cheaper to boost it , but its up to you..you have my support either way.

 

Will the header from the beginning of the thread fit a gs? I want to go turol but I hear log types arent as efficent.thanks

 

depends on the design, But I haven't had any noticeable issues with a straight log, though I've never had a tubular manifold to know the difference. But the turbo spools very quickly and the motor makes good power.

Hmm I might just do log type. Do the ones this company motorsports engineering make do they give good clearance with the fans?

 

The clearance is good. I was in discussions with Chase when he was designing them, and actually hooked him up with the cast iron manifold for reference in making his.

I'm looking at getting the T3 tubular manifold, if I do I might be selling my whole lower setup (manifold, down/midpipe) as a package. I am still undecided whether I'm going to get it or start on buying my forged internals atm.

any idea when your intercooler kit for the eclipse will be out?

 

We are wanting to do a full kit, but most people dont want to pay the price for one..we are seeing how the manifolds take before we release more products.

 

I plan on ordering the basic t3 kit, or the log and a t3, it would be so much more amazing if you guys already had the given option for a intercooler kit.

 

We could do a kit for the eclipse but it would only fit our kits..cause if some had a different turbo and manifold then the licp would need to be redone.

 

Thats why we are looking into doing a full kit..it would keep people from having to peice together a kit andkeep tech support calls down.

 

So if I was to purchase the basic t3 kit, you guys would be able to throw together a intercooler kit that works with the turbo kit setup even tho you don't offer it on the site ATM?

 

We are waiting to see what interest people have before we produce more products

 

The thing about an intercooler kit is that there would have to be 3 different ones made, because placement would change at the inlet between the various manifolds.

 

That is true..if we do a full kit then it will be with just 1 manifold only..the manifolds that we produce now is mainly for people piecing together kits. It gives more options for turbo setups.

Nice! Did you merge it to a flange?

 

Motor sport engineering did the manifold. I just never got around to installing it with the turbo bolted up to the manifold.
