Okay so for like about a month I was using one of those obd2 bluetooth scanner from eBay with the app torque(btw good app imo) and out of nowhere it wouldn't connect to my ecu! I know its not the scanner or app because I tried them on a 05 xb and a 96 1500 and they worked fine. I looked at the obd plug and didn't find any lose wires and now I don't know where to look from there. Anyone have any solutions for this problem??

My reader kept saying link error until I reset the ecu, but I was having major issues with the car at that point, takes like 20 min to reset tho so might as well give it a shot.
No I don't but I might try the one autozone let's customers use and see if it reads but if it doesn't read like that then I don't know what the Hell to do next!!
Update: so I went to autozone today after work and use one of their scanners, I was able to communicate with my ecu but I had to hold the plug on the scanner side off to the right a little so on Saturday I'm going to take a real good look to see if any of the pins are messed up.
