They're based in Australia IIRC. And there is a few RPW items floating around - I believe they're just starting to get into the 4G market so they require a lot of test fitters etc. I believe someone has testfitted a set of RPW headers and now they need someone to test fit this kit to get it going for final production.

Since the 4cyl Mitsu engine (ex. 4g64) has been around for a while, it's easier/more logical to make parts for that engine for the newer 6cyl Mitsu engines. That's why there is little support for 6cyl turbo kits both for the 3g and 4g Eclipse, because the engines are relatively new. Give it a little bit, I'm sure we'll see more stuff coming out for the 4G v6 in the future; at least more than the 6g72 in the 3g has :)

Then again, I'm no car mechanic/aftermarket whiz, so don't quote me. :)

As for if they are in Australia or Japan, I really dont care I want them here in the US, selling parts here.

As for the turbo for the V6 I bet Russ will say theres one already by RPW but is not out yet or need a test fitter.

I know, I know Russ Im burning you.

Tearstone Performance represents RPW here in the US. The 3G world has been buying RPW products for years now and from what I understand you want to be a V6 RPW header test fitter so why the criticism? We (RPW and Tearstone Performance) are doing our best to get parts to come to the market as quickly as possible for you guys.

We had a test fitter here in Florida that fit the 4 cyl headers and it did not go so good. So I'm going to need another 4cyl test fitter so that I can make a new proof for them that fit.

Noone has dropped the coin for the 4G69 turbo kit yet.

6G75 Headers are on their way and I will keep you all updated.

I think i've come to the decision that I want to turbo my GS. Depending on the prics and gains of the header's, that could influence my decsion, but from what I hear it is doubtful that a GS could get anywhere near 200whp with an N/A set-up. Getting all those parts for the car will cost a lot of money and it may not be all that worth it in the end.

If Im going to invest money into my car I want to put my car in a different league. I used to just look at my GS as my first car just to put some parts in and get me from A to B. A lot has changed, I really enjoy the car having it for about 18 months, and I want the power to back it up. I just need to find a way to boost her but still keep her reliability and have it be legible for everyday driving.

The one thing that kinda bothers me about RPW and I guess tearstone in a sence is that they are trying to adaprt headers from a different car, rather than design new headers for the 4G. Seems like the easy way out from my point of view, becuase what if you could get more power with the different space limitations between the two cars. But either way I dont have anything against these companies, I hear a lot of good things about them, and commend them for trying to build the 4G after market.

Me either I dont have anything against Russ/Tearstone because I know him and his is my friend, RPW I dont know them and dont need to. But is frustrating hear that RPW is so great, and other companies that supposly are not that good are dedicating more time and design in our 4G than RPW. And everytime I ask when is the parrt comming is always a ? But thats my point of view.

Just look at it this way, RPW is more than willing to continually support the Mitsubishi market the way they have for many years now. They are limited by simply not having a vehicle there to build on. I know you guys might be frustrated now with RPW but once the part is properly adapted to the US differences they are a reliable supplier of product. They just have a lot of projects going on for the time being and there will be plenty of future 4G owners that will reap the rewards down the road.

Back in the day, my 3G was the very first test fit for the 6G72 headers and they have been supplying them and making pleased with their products ever since.

On a personal note, I really appreciate you guys looking forward to products for us to provide the community. But on a business level we have a lot of motivation to meet the market demand. On the flip side, of course we are losing business to the other companies that make products to this car as well and as consumers it's good to have options.

I know it appears we are being slow on the 4G products for you guy's in the states but essentially we have just as Russ said, been trying to complete as many projects as possible. This means that when we are close to completion of one project, we essentially ignore others untit this one is finished so that we don't make any mistakes.

Honestly, at this moment we are completely focusing on the 4cyl model header - and just to clarify, we are making a new system. The header part does not need to be modified as that hsa alreday been tested and proven. It is simply the fabrication of a new flex pipe which is required and the addition of some O2 sensor fittings to the header.

We have been waiting for some more batches of our V6 hedaers to be made, but it is only really now that our manafacturer has caught up from the xmas break. In australia since Xmas holdiays, we have had virtually five weekends of public holidays which has created havok in terms of production times and freight deliveries.

I haveb been workig with russ and talking a lot to try and keep the USA new products moving but I am also at this very moment working on camshafts for both the I4 and V6 incl mivec 3.8 litre engines amongst the fact that Mitsubish australia has released 5 new model cars into australia which we are working on as well.

So as you can see we have a full plate ahead of us so if we are taking what appears to be too long, it is merely because we are not prepared to slap something together and just send it out. Any new product has to be first fitted, then test fitted a 2nd time before we will start mass production of it. I don't think you would want anything less than that.

At least I hope not :)

Im am extremely exctied to hear about the focus towards the i4. I hope RPW is able to get hands on a 4G ad get a head start on their projects

back on topic, I wouldn't even consider strange unknown turbos, especially if they're had from eBay. Lotsa Chinese knockoffs and nonames out there.
