Sorry for asking I'm a newbie but do all these keys work for the 4g? Or do they have to be molded for each specific car? Not really sure how that works

 

yes, they work for the 4g eclipse and some evos.

you just have to take the blade out, take it to your locksmith, with YOUR oem key,have them cut the new blade to match, then install the new blade in flip key, and your chip, and your good to go. : )

Hey Ryan, sorry it took so long to post it.

Instead of adding to my good-guy thread, I'm just gonna add it here so it can be seen by potential customers:

Ryan is a great seller, always makes sure you have everything you need and gets you squared away. Very fast to ship out and get you your pieces and works to accommodate your needs in any way possible. Great seller, even better friend! His products are great quality, the paints/hydrodips are very bright and vibrant. I hang mine from my belt loop and constantly get compliments. Having the flip key on the eclipse always seems to start conversations (if you're into that kind of stuff.)

Ryan recently sent me the stickers for the back, and they also look professional done, the bubble print is very clean and vibrant, would recommend 100%.

(don't judge the scratches on my flip key as ryan's quality, I am very very clumsy.)

 

What do you mean by chip? Thats what locks and unlocks the car and opens the trunk? I need to remove the chip from my oem keys and put it into this one?

 

When you open your oem key there is a thing in the shape of a superman sylbo inside. The oem keys are chipped and programmed to only work in your car. If you have a key without the chip, you will not be able to start the car. The car has a sensor that searches for the chip's signal when performing tasks such as unlocking, locking, popping the trunk, and starting the car.

Looks awesome, can you do something like the flaming skulls but with a spider instead of a skull? I like the black and orange theme

 

I cant find any dip-films with spiders....just the webbing...

let me see what I can do though, I might be able to make something for you.

 

Me next!!! Not too brag, but I'm pretty sure I was the first guy with a flip key. Anyway after close to two years, I'm always getting compliments on them. The finish is extreamly durable. Also it's a lot easier to start my car than the key that came with my car. Ryan helped me out with every single step of the way. Anyway here are my keys.
