if u dont want to buy headers this is of course the next best thing for no cost.

ceramic and fiberglass is in both converters and resonators. difference is ur exhaust needs to run through all that shit when entering a converter. a resonator uses it strictly as a sound dampener / toner and exhaust does not flow through.
 
^ lol of course. u get some serious overlap with the stock headers causing less area for combustion. gutting them atleast maintains constant increased exhaust velocity
 
No. Any time u mess with the pre cat o2's ur gonna have some problem whether its just an ecl or engine bog / hiccups

get a magnaflow resonator (18" +). if u dont like rasp u will not like straight to mag muffler

yes. needeed to use a vice grip to get one off because the metal would strip if i used a socket or wrench.
 
mine stripped using the puller. use plenty or pb blaster, heat it, give it a few hard hits around the bung.
