just got back from doing a test run, including the interstate, since im catless.i switched out my gt tb back to my gs tb and i would not recommend the gt tb without a tune.you will lose top end power and smell like a gas station.

on my test runs,i still smelled a lil gas,but no where near as much as i did with the gt tb.allso,i did not backfire at all and was able to go past 120 easier with the gs tb than with the gt tb.so until i get a reflash, the gs tb is staying on my car.

i can pretty much conclude that the reason my cats looked the way they did is because of how rich i was running with the gt tb for quite a few thousand miles.bout 15k to be exact.so to anyone reading this and is not planning on getting a tune,i would not recommend the gt tb
Reflash FTW. I notice better throttle response with my GT TB actually.. I guess all the small things added up lead my car to run a bit better. But I do notice I run a little rich, hence me wanting to get a tune and get that reflash asap. (RRE Header) Btw... I don't want to confuse anyone reading this.

Snake and J, I'm probably starting a 2nd job soon, so the reflash might come sooner than expected. Let me know when we are getting the cable.:bigthumb:
