Very true because FIC is a piggyback my bad I just couldn't think of any brand specific standalone that people have tried on this car, but has anyone here attempted to go that route?
Mexico city turbo eclipse JEZZA has a standalone. I was considering one, and my quote for one was aroud 1,100 for it with two hours of tuning, which I don't think it's a bad deal.

Damn I had no idea Jezza had a standalone, that man came in here breaking barriers since day one. I don't think that price is too bad of a deal, you have to pay to play... Especially with these damn 4th gens

THE RIPPMODS KIT COMES WITH ONE OF THOSE HERES THE LINK TO THE SITE TELL ME IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE ILL NEED BESIDE THE INTERCOOLER 2006 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT RIPP Complete Supercharger Kit Stage 1
Just order the blower, the additional pulleys with the shaft, the mounting brackets, and the piping from them.

Buy a fuel delivery controller, intercooler, and sti injectors.

I live for that quote. You gotta pay to play!

That's huge...you have to loose 3-5psi with that thing...those are ment for like 30+psi Evo or GTR
Yup I'm assuming I'll be losing around 3-5psi with this intercooler, however I'm aiming for 12lbs of boost with the v-3 g blower, stg 2 pulley, and a few pulleys i've already changed.

Are you running the hot side over or under the headers?
That's where I'm stuck at. I was trying to run the hot side over the headers, but the fan on the passenger side is on the way, so most likely i'm gonna run it under the header over the crossmember.

Ok so im assuming the stage 1 kit from ripp will be ok with the stock pulleys without going over 6 psi ima give them a call tomorrow also ima look into the intercooler although the stage 2 kit comes with that meth cooler and it has the same thing as the stage 1 kit plus a samller pulley that would bring it to 9-11 psi i think i will buy that one then not put on the pulleys until im ready to get the rre forged pistons thanks for the responses pleaz feel free to elaborate more in the thread if u would like
Just an FYI the forged pistons on RRE are for a GS. Your info says you have a GT.

if I were you I would slow down a little and learn as much as possible about not just a supercharger package like this, but how an engine works in general and what a supercharger is actually doing and how you control it all - the amount of fuel and air going into your engine is crucial - as is keeping it all cool and not running too hot. there are many many upgrades I would recommend in addition to putting the blower on if you really want to harvest the power it can give you. clutch, motor mounts, stiffy just to start with. do you have long tube headers installed? you must have them if you run a blower. there are all kinds of threads on here about what it would take to run even stage 1. use the search function and start reading would be my advice. learn all you can then formulate your plans for modification. otherwise you'll wind up like me and in an endless cycle of upgrade after upgrade just to make your car run safely and efficiently - not to mention getting the power you are paying for to the ground with our FWD cars.

good luck, man.

RIPP Tuners Package for V6 vehicles equipped with 2.4 Mivec, 2.7V6 Delta, 3.0V6 6G72, 3.8V6

Wouldn't be better to buy the tuner's package considering the brat box is crap and could save a couple $$$ buying some better parts?
JP you hit it right on the head. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy RIPP electronics of any kind...get the AEM F/IC 6 or some other respectable fuel/boost controller. the company that makes the black box doesn't even exist anymore. it NEVER worked for me, and is not tuneable unless you are God.

Listen to Joe guy....he's one of the few that hasn't blown his engine going FI. I have the stage 1 kit on the way...they are waiting for the Vortex charger to assemble it and ship it. There is a huge list of things that you are going to need to do and these stock pistons have popped a six lbs. too. I think I will go ahead and install mine after it comes but probably won't go over 4 lbs. or so until I do a lower engine build. Glad to see someone else following this path....maybe we can all help each other out. Best of luck and I will be following your progress.
