Can't not have front license plates in TX... legally speaking :)

And I've been stopped twice for having turn signals in the front and rear that "sparkle" blue... though bone fuggin stock! So I guess Mitsubishi's doing something illegal eh?

Other than that, there's the typical "what's not factory" question for those who have non- 'normal' colored headlights and non-amber turn sigs, and more than 4 front lights (i.e. headlights+fogs+sprayer nozzle neons) or any light that pulses.

Overall, though, can't complain much. This is, after all, not Cali :p

Straight from the TX website:
§ 502.404. OPERATION OF VEHICLE WITHOUT LICENSE PLATE OR
REGISTRATION INSIGNIA. (a) A person commits an offense if the
person operates on a public highway during a registration period a
passenger car or commercial motor vehicle that does not display two
license plates, at the front and rear of the vehicle
, that have
been:
(1) assigned by the department for the period; or
(2) validated by a registration insignia issued by the
department that establishes that the vehicle is registered for the
period.

Since its not defined, you may have the plate in the windshield as long as its visible from the front.

In Jersey-- front window tint is illegal and if the drop tint is down past a certain point thats illegal too. Ground effects are illegal here and so are tinted liscense plates and tinted head/tail lights. Not too many cities care though, just the one I happen to work in!! But :fawk: them!

anything under 2,000hp:) and no red headlight

Anything darker than 50% tint in MN is illegal, most cops don't care unless it's 5%, and of course no front windshield tint. Front license plate is also illegal not to have.

Other than that, MN rocks.

New York is a bit of a pain when it comes to modding your car. No front license plate will get you pulled over. Tint is strictly enforced, not sure of the percent but its pretty ridiculous. Neons of any type while in motion will get you a ticket ( including neon plates). Exaust restriction is 90 decibels I believe?

i dont even know about washington... ive been pulled twice for my car being loud, no tickets... but i think that would happen to me anywhere... i never have a car thats registered in the state i live in. so i get away with alot.

i iwll look it up and post it, even though im the only person from washington anymore...

Damn XyX... I really want my fronts tinted as well

I wonder if I can slight it. The car, in 3-4 months, will be anything but inconspicuous.

HAHAHA!! Love the pic of the honda sticker.

I'd love to tint my front window as well, But I get into enough trouble without needing to add to it. LOL. That VW looks sweet tho.

Ok, in Puerto Rico, any mod to the engine is illegal, if the window tint is 35% is ok to have the complete front window tinted, exhaust has to be factory, no aftermarket, music, if is too loud is illegal, no blue lights at all, underglow is illegal, no matter what color, even if you have a evo with no mods, you will get pull over, and maybe your car may get impounded ( Confiscated ). My advice is, leave your cas as it comes out of the dealer, or have good government connections...:squint:
