I don't know if this is a common issue with spyders, but after a hard rain it seems like I get a good amount of water in the trunk of the car. Thankfully I'm able to pull the drain plug and let it out but I don't seem to understand where the water might be coming from. I feel that it might be coming in from the rear spoiler trickling through the trunk lid and then coming down into the back.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on what I should do to troubleshoot and find where it's coming in from?

It does look like the car took damage to the rear and then replaced the bumper.

Spyder could be the issue, coupes don't have this issue

I had this issue on my WRX from the holes in the trunk from the wing bolts, everything was rusty and I had to toss the toolkit and jack handle and buy new ones, and mop up water from the trunk

My Eclipse coupe's trunk is clean as brand new, spare tire and toolkit/jack look brand new too
