Small update from earlier this week. Basically prepping for engine removal, which should be next weekend or the one after. I've just about disconnected everything that attaches the motor to the chassis. Only thing still attached are accessories that have fluid in them, power steering, AC, radiator... those things will be removed at the garage along with the exhaust. Once those things are out of the way, motor will be removed by dropping down from the engine bay - appears that its going to be quite easy to do with a lift, then new one pulled back up.

Here are a few pics to show what I've been looking at.

That a gt tb? If so whatcha want for it if not ill keep trolling pick-n-pull

Dang man, this is looking really good. I just finished the exterior of my car, and was getting ready to start looking into boosting my 06 GS but now I'm really considering doing the swap. A lot more power for about the same amount of money as what I was going to put into it. Definitely going to keep a close eye on this thread. Good luck man!

Clutch cables ordered today, just put me over the $3000 mark for the cost of the swap. I still need to edit the OP for the parts I've sold to fund this project.

Also, Ripp headers removed, will be listed on my FS thread soon!

If all goes well, pulling the GS motor this weekend. Then cleaning up the engine bay and dropping in the V6

This is what it looked like after today... basically removed AC, starter, unhooked PS lines, and roll stopper mounts. Tomorrow CV axles come out, and pulling starts.

It's out!!! Going to spend all this week cleaning and prepping the engine bay. I broke the rear roller mount on removal, so I'm set back a little bit while I wait on a new one to arrive. Took the GS motor out as one piece, the GT motor will go in broken into two pieces. Got to remove the power steering pump from the GS and see if it will mate with the GT motor, I'm thinking it will.

Here are some pics to sum it up quickly...
