So, I just did this. Took about 2 hours including setup and cleanup. What sucks, is that the front bolt on the collector flange sheared right off with almost no effort . I only have 10k miles. I hate Ohio. Can't wait to try it out!

After getting up to operating temp and resetting the ecu, two words:

Holy shit!

No codes and gain across the rpm range. No bs. This was more noticeable than the underdrive pulley.

I did finally get a code. I recommend getting the spacers shortly thereafter, since it can skew your a/f with bad readings from the O2 sensors.

If you are having difficulty understanding this thread, you should not attempt this mod. You will cause some sort of damage. Not being a dick (although I am one), but seriously, this is not difficult. If you don't have this basic mechanical ability, you may end up doing more damage than good. Justin's instructions really can't be made any clearer.

I had the same feeling. It felt so much better the next day when I wasn't as worn out from doing all of the work. Good gains and sound all around.

Before someone goes and gets themselves killed, here is the official warning:

Your bumper supports do more than just hold your bumper covers up. They are a vital part of your car's safety design. Removing them can cause death or severe injury in a crash. They are the initial absorption point in both low, and high speed crashes.

Just letting the newbs know so they stay safe. If you choose to remove them, it's like getting hit in the nuts: do you want to be wearing a cup or not?

Just make sure to follow the directions on the high-heat paint and cure them properly or it will bake and flake in no time.
